Anniston police seek help in identifying theft suspect

Anniston Police have released several surveillance images in a theft investigation.

Through the department's Facebook page, police say the woman in the images used a stolen credit card to make purchases at a business Sept. 3.

They are asking Anyone with information to contact investigators at (256) 240-4000 or email ebranham@annistonal.gov.

Police say several suspects have been caught using social media, and Anniston is one of several departments in East Alabama to rely on Facebook for investigations.
