Boaz police have released the names of those involved in a
two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of Mountain Drive and U.S. Highway 431,
Tuesday night.
Chief Scott Farish said driver Stacy Nickerson of Attalla
is listed in stable condition and passenger Derrick Akers of Rainbow City was
in intensive care at Huntsville Hospital.
Both were airlifted to the hospital from the scene of the
crash. Farish said witnesses told police the Ford Explorer Nickerson was
driving pulled out from Mountain Drive onto U.S. Highway 431 and into the path
of an 18-wheeler driven by Charles Randall Davis of Albertville.
