Calhoun County authorities have arrested a man after he
led police on a roughly 20 mile chase.
Investigators say they went to the home of Derek Johns on
Wellborn Avenue in Saks to serve an arrest warrant issued by family court.
Deputies said Johns escaped out a back door and drove way.
Johns led deputies on a roughly 20 mile chase, often
doubling back on roads and highways, before crashing his truck into a utility
pole in Eastaboga.
Further charges are pending. Johns is in the Calhoun County
Jail.
