Three arrested in Etowah County Burglary

Three Gadsden residents have been arrested in connection with a December 19th  burglary in Boaz.
47 year old Shirley Renea Bearden,  55 year old Stephen Craig Mayo,  and 46 year old Rodney Durand Reynolds,  are each charged with one felony count of third-degree burglary.
The three were in the process of burglarizing a residence on Bellamy Road in Boaz when the home owner called 911. The burglars ran from the home, but the homeowner was able to give deputies a good description of the white GMC Sonoma truck they left in.
A Deputy located  the truck, along with Bearden and Mayo, behind a residence on Johns Road in Boaz.  Another Deputy found Reynolds walking down Egypt Road.
Property from the Bellamy Road residence was discovered in the back of the truck, was identified and returned to the rightful owner.

Bearden is in the Etowah County Detention Center on $2,500 bond. Mayo and Reynolds were each booked into the jail and later released on $2,500 bond.
