Piedmont man pleads guilty in cold case murder

A Calhoun County judge will decide the sentence for a man who pleaded guilty to killing a Piedmont woman. Jimmy Steed pleaded guilty on Tuesday to murder and other charges for the death of Carla Fuqua.
Fuqua disappeared in October of 2009. Her body was found in December of 2012. Steed was arrested eight months later.

Investigators say he is also a person of interest in three other missing persons cases, including the disappearance of his wife, Karen Steed.
