Glencoe man arrrested after threats against police officer

A Glencoe man has been arrested by Etowah county Sheriffs Deputies for making a terrorist threat. Floyd Vaughn is charged with one felony count of making a terrorist threat.  Vaughn told a Hokes Bluff police officer on May 25th , that he did not appreciate the way a Glencoe police officer had spoken to him at a previous incident and that he was going to shoot the officer the next time he encountered him.  Vaughn was taken into custody Thursday by Sheriff Todd Entrekin during a traffic stop and is being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on a $2,500 bond.
