Two arrested in Calhoun county burglaries

Calhoun County investigators say two men have been arrested on property theft charges, and more charges could come as a result of an investigation into several burglaries.  According to Calhoun County Sheriff Larry Amerson Michael Wayne Hall and Derek Campbell were both arrested following an investigation into the thefts of utility trailers, lawn equipment and other items.  The 37 year old Campbell was already being held on charges from Oxford Police. Campbell faces charges of first degree receiving stolen property and first degree property theft. Hall has been charged with first and second degree property theft.  Amerson said other law enforcement agencies are working similar cases, and investigators have recovered several lawn mowers, trailers, a table saw, ping pong table and a generator, among other items.  The investigation is continuing.
