Anniston fire victim critical as police search for suspect

A 58-year-old Anniston woman injured in a Tuesday morning house fire is listed today in critical condition in the burn unit at UAB hospital in Birmingham.  The woman was able to escape thru a window from the early morning fire at her mobile home on Lee Lane off of Bynum Leatherwood Road.   The woman, who was not identified,  suffered second-degree burns  on her upper torso and arms as well as cuts from escaping thru the window.  Authorities suspect arson and say they have identified a person of interest and are searching for the suspect.  An arrest could result in felony first degree arson charges or a charge of attempted murder or both.
