Anniston Police have arrested two men in connection with the
weekend theft of a utility trailer from a home on cooper avenue. 28 year old Tyreese Lamont-Sinard Lewis, , and 27 year old Chandron Rashard Northard,
both of Anniston, were charged with felony charges of second-degree theft. The two were arrested after a witness
described the two men and the gray dodge pickup they were driving. While police were interviewing the witness
the two drove by in the same truck and were identified. Police later located
the trailer parked in a nearby backyard
on Walnut Street belonging to Lewis’ grandmother. Both men were arrested on
warrants. Northard was released on bond
while Lewis remains in the Calhoun county jail.
Northard was released from the Anniston City Jail this
morning on a $10,000 bond.
