Talladega county Sheriffs Deputies have arrested An Alpine
woman for allegedly trying to steal three acres of land.
Authorities say that 46 year old Angie Wynn Strickland, is
charged with forgery in the second degree and theft of property in the first
degree.
Strickland was accused of forging the signature on a
quit-claim deed for three acres of property valued at $18,000, then had the
deed recorded in the probate office.
