Drugs stolen from Ambulance

Gadsden police are investigating the theft of medications from An ambulance that was broken into while out on a call reporting that all of the medications on the ambulance were stolen.  The Rural Metro ambulance was at a residence on Centre Avenue. When the reporting paramedic and his partner returned to the ambulance, he noticed the drug box was gone and notified police.  The paramedics told police they had done an inventory check on the way to the call, so everything that was supposed to be in the ambulance was there.  The drugs stolen were mostly emergency medications such as epinephrine and atropine, according to the report.

Police are continuing to investigate the theft.
