Calhoun Chamber growth moves them into top five in state



The Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce is one of the states five largest chambers of commerce in Alabama.    Chamber officials say Membership in the Calhoun County Chamber grew by 15 percent in March. And during last year, the chamber retained 91 percent of its membership.  Chamber Manager Linda Hearn says The growth of the Chamber is a direct reflection of the representation of the business climate in Calhoun County and the region.  Currently, the state’s five largest chambers comprise Birmingham, Montgomery, Mobile and Tuscaloosa, along with Calhoun County.
