Arson suspected in Alexandria fire

Officials in Calhoun County say A home in Alexandria was intentionally burned Wednesday, after a dispute between neighbors.  According to Calhoun County Sheriff Larry Amerson , there was a dispute between the owners of the home, on Poplar Drive in Alexandria, and neighbors prior to the fire, which started at around 9:45 p.m. Wednesday night.  The homeowners left the home Wednesday, and while they were gone the house caught on fire.  Investigators with the State Fire Marshal's Office and the Sheriff’s Office were investigating Friday what may have started the fire, but there were no arrests in the case as of Friday afternoon.  Amerson called the conditions suspicious.
