A 20 year old Gadsden man was arrested Tuesday on child
pornography charges following an extensive investigation by several law
enforcement agencies. Pablo Gabriel
Urbina, was booked into the Etowah
county detention center on two felony charges including possession of child
pornography and production of obscene matter containing a visual depiction of a
person under 17 years of age. According
to Sheriff Todd Entrekin, a search warrant was executed Tuesday night at
Urbina's home on Merit Circle, and authorities found over 600 pornographic
images and videos, some of which he allegedly distributed online. Agencies
assisting in the investigation include the sheriff's office, US Secret Service
Electronic Crimes Task Force, Department of Homeland Security Investigations
and the Etowah County District Attorney's Office. Urbina is currently remains in jail on a
$250,000 cash bond.
