Three arrested in Marshall county burglary and kidnapping

Authorities in Marshall County have arrested Three Albertville residents on burglary and kidnapping charges.  47 year old Billy Joe Brown, 38 year old  William Arthur Cantrell Jr., and 35 year old April Nichole White, are each charged with first-degree burglary and first-degree kidnapping. Brown also is charged with assault.  Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded just before 2 a.m. Thursday to a domestic dispute at a mobile home park on Pleasant Grove Cut-Off Road in the Sims community, west of Albertville.  Deputies said a fight broke out between a 35-year-old woman and Brown, who is her boyfriend. The woman ran from her home to a neighbor for assistance.  Brown allegedly went to the home in which the woman was hiding and, with the assistance of Cantrell, entered by force. Once inside the home, Brown allegedly attacked the woman with a taser and hit her in her head, causing a significant cut.  After beating the woman, Brown and Cantrell allegedly took her to a home at an adjacent lot in the mobile home park. Deputies were able to find the woman inside that home along with Brown, Cantrell and White. The victim was taken to an area hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Brown, Cantrell and White were taken to the Marshall County Jail. Bond has not been set for them, and the case remains under investigation.
