Glencoe woman faces multiple charges

Glencoe police have charged a 28-year-old woman with forgery, fraudulent use of a credit card and theft.  Police obtained 14 felony warrants Thursday for Tara Renee Khoogar, of Glencoe. She was charged with eight counts of second-degree forgery, six counts of fraudulent use of a credit card and one count of second-degree theft.
The charges stem from a report made to Glencoe police Sept. 25, and a second report concerning the same suspect made Oct. 7.
Khoogar was arrested Oct. 7 at an East Gadsden discount store after she allegedly tried to write a check from the second victim’s closed account.
Investigators determined the offenses included a total of 62 illegal debit card transactions totaling $1,242.83; 23 forged checks for more than $2,100; and illegal use of a  credit card for
more than $6,000.
Khoogar was jailed on bonds totaling $35,000.
