Two arrested in Etowah county for separate burglaries

A Hokes Bluff man was arrested and charged in connection to stolen property, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin. 26 yea rold Brian Scott Mosley is charged with one count of third degree burglary, one count of second degree theft of property, two felony counts of second degree receiving stolen property. Mosley is also charged with one misdemeanor count of third degree receiving stolen property and one misdemeanor count of third degree theft by deception . Mosley allegedly had stolen items at his residence, on Bachelors Chapel Road, that were taken from various burglaries and thefts in the Alford Bend community.
A Gadsden man was arrested and charged in connection to stolen property.. 37 year old Jonathan Dewayne Kirk, was arrested on July 30 and is charged with one felony count of third degree burglary, and one felony count of first degree theft of property. Kirk is also charged with one misdemeanor count of third degree theft by deception .
Kirk allegedly broke into a residence on Yancey Drive, in the Alfords Bend community. He stole a riding lawn mower, chain saw, a hedge trimmer and utility trailer.
He attempted to hide the utility trailer at his residence in Gadsden and sold several items at a local pawn shop.
All of the stolen property was recovered and returned to the rightful owner.
