Task force arrests 4 in Wednesday morning raids

Officers with the Etowah County Drug Enforcement Unit wrapped up a ten week investigation Wednesday with the execution of a series of search warrants resulting with the arrest of four individuals on drug and weapons charges. Task Force Commander Rob Savage says that the raids were well coordinated and took place without incident – despite the fact that all of the suspects were armed.  Officers seized 400 grams of powdered cocaine worth about forty-thousand dollars, three-thousand dollars in cash, numerous weapons and several cars. Four men were taken into custody during the raids. 30-year old Jerome Williams, 34-year old Roderick Lloyd, 26-year old Jhavaris Riddle and his older brother 35-year old Richard Riddle. All four are being held in the Etowah County Detention Center facing drug and weapons charges.
