Calhoun County School Board makes new Principal Appointments

Two new elementary school principals were named Wednesday by the Calhoun County Board of Education. Jeanna Chandler was named as the new principal for Wellborn Elementary school after serving four years as the schools vice principal. as the school’s new principal, stepping into the role after four years as the school’s vice principal. Amber Ray was named Wednesday as the new vice principal at Weaver Elementary School. Former Wellborn elementary principal Doug O’Dell has moved into the position of assistant director of transportation for the school system.
