Pre Season High School football poll released

With high school football only weeks away the Alabama sportswriters association released their pre season poll Tuesday. 5 Area teams made the top ten in their respective classifications. In class 4a, central of clay county is ranked number 5 while Cleburne county is ranked at number 10. In class 3a, the piedmont bulldogs are ranked third in the pre season poll while Geraldine is ranked at 9^th. In class 2a, Wellborn is ranked number 4 and woodland is in the tenth spot. Other teams receiving votes in the poll but not making the top ten included, oxford, southside, sardis, sand rock, cedar bluff, spring garden and gaylesville.
