Third suspect charged in Anniston theft

A 36 year old Anniston woman is facing theft charges as a third suspect arrested by Anniston police in the March theft of items from a man’s storage unit . Stephanie Michelle Swink Johnson, has been charged with felony second-degree theft, after turning herself in Monday afternoon at the Anniston Police Department. On Aug. 7, 46 year old Tangee Caver Heath, and 59 year old Michael Lavone Hughley, both turned themselves in at the Anniston Police Department and were also charged with second-degree theft in the incident. The trio are accused of stealing furniture valued at $800 out of a 33-year-old man’s storage unit on South Leighton Avenue. Hughley was the uncle of the victim. The other two women were acquainted with Hughley.
