I 59 wrecks

Authorities are urging motorists to use Caution on Interstate 59 in Etowah County after two 18-wheeler wrecks this morning. Authorities say An 18-wheeler overturned early this morning just north of the Attalla exit, in the southbound lane of the interstate, spilling its load. The truck has been moved, but the boxes in the trailer spilled and are being removed. Diesel fuel also spilled and is being cleaned up. Another wreck about two miles north of the Reece City exit also caused problems. However, the truck did not overturn. The driver of the overturned truck was injured and taken to a local hospital. The extent of his injuries is unknown
