Composite sketch of Munford Rapist released by Talladega Sheriffs Department

The Talladega county sheriffs department has released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in the July 28th rape of a 67 year old Munford woman. Investigators say the woman returned home from a church function around 3:35 on that sunday afternoon when a black male possibly in his 20's approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, with short black hair, driving a small white four door vehicle arrived and rang the door bell. He told the woman he was selling books and asked if she was home alone. He was holding a red book with the word “tech” on the cover. She tried to shut the door, but he forced his way in. He demanded money, and victim gave him $75 from her purse. He kept telling her to give him more money and backed her into the bedroom. He then forced victim onto the bed and raped her.
