Talladega county robbery

Investigators with the Talladega County Sheriff’s Office are searching for two men who robbed a local convenience store last week. Investigators have been reviewing surveillance video from the Coldwater Friendly Stop on Priebes Mill Road in hopes of identifying the suspects. According to Sheriff Jimmy Kilgore the two men approached a cashier outside the store around 10 p.m. Wednesday. Kilgore said the two suspects took the woman back into the convenience store, where they stole cash from the register and her purse. The sheriff said The suspects kept putting their hands in their pockets indicating they had a gun, but the clerk never actually saw a gun. The cashier was not injured during the robbery. The two men fled the store on foot win an undetermined amount of money. The sheriff said One suspect wore a black hoodie, and the other wore a camouflaged hoodie.
