Blount County Fire

Firefighters from Blount and Etowah counties battled  a large brush fire that broke out in Blount County on Monday afternoon. A barn and a diesel mechanic shop caught fire. The fire impacted some 65 acres of land. The fire was near Lebanon Church on County Road 42.  Officials were able to contain the fire late Monday.
