Piedmont drug bust

Five people have been arrested by piedmont police  on drug possession charges after police executed a search warrant on a piedmont home.  Officers discovered crack cocaine, morphine pills and pre-packaged marijuana inside the north fifth avenue home. 23 year old Damarious Jerell Boyd, 30 year old Marcus Deontay Pinson, 25 year old  Devon Brittney Weber, 20 year old Eriche Keanna Gamble, and 22 year old Russell Levi Robinson Jr., have been charged with felony charges of possession of a controlled substance possession of marijuana. Boyd faces an additional felony charge of obstructing justice using a false identity.The Piedmont Police Department’s narcotics unit also recovered a 9 mm handgun along with 2.1 pounds of marijuana.
