Childersburg Drug Arrests

Three Childersburg men are facing felony drug charges after leading police on a brief chase tuesday.  Talladega County Drug and Violent Task Force Commander Jason Murray said each of the three men were arrested Tuesday and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, namely crack cocaine. 26 year old Christopher Levon Swain, 27 year old  Melvin Dontae Keith, and 25 year old Marquis Quintel Briskey, were all riding in a pick up truck when Childersburg police officers attempted to pull them over for a traffic violation. The men eventually bailed out of the truck and briefly attempted to flee on foot, but were eventually captured.  Crack cocaine was recovered in the floorboard of the truck.
