Officer involved in Talladega shooting

Law enforcement officials are investigating an officer-involved shooting Wednesday in Talladega.  The Alabama Bureau of Investigation is looking into the incident involving a Talladega police officer.  The shooting is believed to have happened after a chase ended in a wooded area near Chinnabee Road.  The victim was taken to a hospital in Birmingham by LifeSaver helicopter.  The ABI and the Talladega County District Attorney's office are investigating.
