Anniston police arrest 8 on drug charges in public housing complex



Anniston police have arrested eight people Thursday on charges of marijuana possession after officers with annistons housing authority recovered large amounts of marijuand in an apartment at the Constantine homes complex in Anniston.  Officers had gone to the Elm Street to serve an arrest warrant on Shandrika Doston for failure to appear. When officers got to the they observed a strong odor of marijuana.
After being given permission by the tenant to search the apartment,  officers were given permission by a tenant to search the apartment they discovered large amounts of marijuana, with some packaged for distribution.
23 year old Quintarious Terrel Patton, 23 year old Corey Jamal Fuller, 26 year old Shandrika Lashun Dotson, 23 year old Victor Burns, 19 year old Jaquan Terrell Kimble, 22 year old Javille Kevon Reid, 23 year old Christopher Marshad Walker, and 43 year old Teretha Mynjuan Williams, were all charged with felony possession of marijuana, according to police reports. Fuller faces an additional charge of possession of a controlled substance because officers found synthetic marijuana, also known as spice, on him.
