Can you spell Prabhu,
well 14 year old Brooklynn Lee of Weaver high school can. After correctly spelling the word, which
means master. She became the winner in the 11th round of the annual Calhoun
County Spelling Bee, held Tuesday at the Donoho School. Her win now gives her
the chance to compete in the state spelling bee championship March 5. One of 36
students from all the elementary and middle schools in calhoun county to
compete, Lee won $300.
