Three injured in Wednesday wreck in Talladega County

A three vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon on Alabama 21 in Talladega county sent the drivers of each vehicle to local hospitals,  including one who had to be airlifted to Birmingham. State Troopers say the wreck just before 3  Wednesday afternoon and involved a 2003 Chevrolet driven by 19 year old  Alan Lackey, of Talladega; a 2005 Chevrolet driven by 55 year old Danny Barclay, of Munford and a 2013 Ford driven by 60 year old Ruth Hollingsworth,  of Talladega. Lackey appeared to have been more seriously injured than the others, and was airlifted to University of Alabama Birmingham hospital. The cause of the accident was still under investigation.
