Piedmont man arrested following chase



A 25 year old Piedmont man is in the Cherokee County Jail after leading deputies on a chase in the Spring Garden  community last week.  Cherokee County Sheriff deputies were on their way to serve multiple warrants on 25 year old Adam Studdard.  Studdard was spotted by deputies on County Road 29.  He fled  from deputies after they attempted to stop him.  Studdard crashed his vehicle into a guardrail on County  road 111. He resisted arrest and was tazed before being taken into custody. Studdard is being held in the Cherokee County Dention Facility where he charged with felony attemping to elude and resisting arrest in addition to the warrants that were being served to him.
