The Chamber of Gadsden & Etowah County announced Tuesday
that Riley Green will be the opening act for Riverfest 2014.. The 29th edition of the music festival held
along the Coosa River will be June 13 and 14. Green will perform at 5 p.m. June
13 on the main stage.
Green is A native of Jacksonville, and started playing
guitar at age 10 and writing music at age 14.
He was influenced musically by his grandfather, Buford Green, who in
2003 opened the Golden Saw Music Hall near Jacksonville.
