JSU Coach resigns to take UAB job

JSU head football coach Bill Clark, has accepted the head football coaching position at UAB. Clark went 11-4 with JSU in 2013. He spent five years as the defense coordinator at the University of South Alabama and won two state championships while coaching at Prattville High School. Clark notified his athletic director at JSU Tuesday that he has accepted the UAB position. His buyout was $400,000 and his salary at JSU was $175,000. UAB's former head coach Garrick McGee left the Blazers to become the offensive coordinator at Louisville under Bobby Petrino.  A press conference to formally introduce UAB's new coach will be held this afternoon.
