Propane tanks hot item for Gadsden Thieves

Items necessary to stay warm has apparently been a hot item for thieves this week.  Gadsden police report that Three stores in Gadsden have fallen victim to propane tank thefts.  A Dollar General and Rainbow Food Mart, both located on Noccalula Drive, and another store on Gilberts Ferry Road each had the locks to their propane tank cages broken and tanks stolen between Tuesday and Wednesday. The Gilberts Ferry store had two propane tanks stolen, the Dollar General had 14 taken and Rainbow Food Mart had 18 stolen. The thefts remain under investigation.
