Cadence Bank announces closure of 11 Alabama branches

The downtown Gadsden branch of Cadence Bank is one of 11 branches in Alabama and 17 branches overall that will close in October or November.  Other branches being closed in Northeast Alabama include Snead, Cleveland and Guntersville, according to Cadence Bank Senior Vice President Marketing and Communications Director Danielle Kernell. She said “more than a dozen branches” are closing in Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Mississippi. Cadence’s Rainbow City branch is not closing.  Bank officials say The majority of the branches scheduled to close have Cadence Bank offices nearby where customers can conduct their banking business.
