Three arrested in Weaver Robbery/Rape

Authorities have charged two men and a minor with robbery in connection with an alleged June home invasion, robbery and rape in Weaver.  Investigators say that More charges could be levied, and more arrests made, as investigators continue to work the case. Anniston police were are investigating a similar crime that occurred close to the same day in Anniston.  In the Weaver case, two men, a 20-year old and a 22-year-old, both of Anniston, were arrested by Weaver police Wednesday, charged with first-degree robbery. A 17-year old was also arrested and charged with robbery. Those arrests are in connection with the incident in Weaver, which happened at around 3 a.m. on June 1^st.  Because the 17-year-old is a minor, information on his arrest, including where he is from, was not released.
All three men are scheduled to appear in court August 4 at 1:30 p.m..
