Police find body of missing Anniston Woman

Anniston police say investigators found a body inside the vehicle of a missing woman on Monday.
Margie Mize had not been seen since June 24.
Searchers found her vehicle on CR 24 just inside the Cleburne County line. Anniston Police Captain Allen George said the vehicle appeared to have left the road, struck a large tree and overturned in a wooded ravine.
The body was sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences in Huntsville for an autopsy and to confirm the identity.
George said in a press release that "I have personally met with the family to notify them that we were confident that the body was that of Ms. Mize."
Police say that Mize's dog, Katie was found alive at the scene but officers were unable to catch her.
