Oxford couple arrested in Southside vehicle burglaries

Southside police have arrested A man and woman from Oxford in connection with vehicle break-ins in the Big Sky and Lakemont areas of the city.  27 year old Michael Glenn Grizzard,  and 19 year old  Stephanee Lashey Haynes, were arrested Friday.  Hayes was charged with unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle, second- and third-degree theft of property and hindering prosecution.  Grizzard was charged with third-degree receiving stolen property.  Both are in the Etowah County Detention Center. Grizzard has a $26,000 bond; no bond has been set for Haynes.   The investigation is ongoing in cooperation with the Etowah County Sheriff’s Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
