Two arrested in Anniston domestic violence incident

Anniston police have charged an Anniston couple with domestic violence involving an alleged strangulation that occurred in the middle of a city street. 18 year old  Michael Justin Fleck has been charged with felony domestic violence strangulation and 29 year old Elizabeth Lynn Pruitt, has been charged with misdemeanor third-degree domestic violence.   The arrests were made after Police were called to Saks Road on a domestic disturbance call. When officers arrived, Fleck and Pruitt were in the middle of the road.Fleck and Pruitt both appeared to have bruises and scratches around their necks, according to a police report. Both refused medical attention.

Pruitt was released on a $500 bond on Tuesday. Fleck was still being held this morning. No court dates have been set.
