An Altoona man has been arrested and charged in connection
with stolen property. 19 year old David
Austin Chaviers, is charged with one felony count of first-degree theft of
property and one felony count of third-degree burglary.
Chaviers allegedly stole a 2004 Kawasaki Prairie Twin V
four-wheeler from a residence on Highway 132 in Altoona. The four-wheeler was
recovered and returned to the owner.
Chaviers was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center
and later released on $7,500 bond.
