The CEO of Annistons Stringfellow Memorial Hospital has
resigned. Bryan McCauley resigned
Tuesday and hospital officials decline to say why he resigned. Chief nursing
officer Matthew Banks was named as
interim CEO while a search is underway for a new CEO. Stringfellow hired McCauley in October 2012
to replace then CEO Barry Keel. He had previously worked as chief operating
officer at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden.
