Fishermen arrested for cheating in Bass tournament

Officers with the Alabama Department of Conservation have arrested two men in connection to cheating in bass fishing tournaments on Lake Guntersville.  Marshall County District Attorney Steve Marshall said that Gary Minor, Jr. of Albertville and Robert Gillaspie of Boaz are charged with tampering with sport contest, a misdemeanor. They were booked into the Marshall County Jail Thursday and later released on bond.  Authorities were tipped off the men were using previously caught bass to dupe competitors. Sources say authorities caught them in the act in a sting operation Thursday.
