Gadsden man arrested on terroristic threat charge

Gadsden police have charged a 24 year old man on a felony charge of making a terrorist threat.  Arthur Jerome Thomas,  is being held on $50,000 bond in the Etowah County Detention Center.
Investigators said the arrest came after someone reported the man to police for allegedly entering a home on Carolyn Lane. He allegedly made threats against the person making the report and threats about doing something to the residence.
Last Wednesday, there was a fire at the house that is under investigation for arson.
At 3:54 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters were dispatched to a grass fire in the area, but arrived to find the house on fire in the 200 block of Carolyn Lane. The house was not occupied and there was no electricity connected to it.
