A former missionary will spend the rest of his life in jail
after being convicted of sex crimes against a child.
34 year old Emanuel Lee Yarbrough, was found guilty in August of first-degree
sodomy and first-degree sexual abuse. On Monday, Calhoun County Circuit Judge
Debra Jones sentenced Yarbrough to life in prison without parole. He was also
fined $90,000. Yarbrough was arrested in February 2014 after police were
informed he had sexual contact with a girl who was less than six years old.
Investigators believe it happened in a home in Oxford, a hotel in Indiana, and
in Thailand during a mission trip.
