Talladega police search for robbery suspects



Talladega police are looking for two white males in connection with a strong-arm robbery outside Citizens Baptist Medical Center on Wednesday morning.
Police say the victim, a 68-year-old woman, was coming out of the hospital after 10 a.m. carrying a gym bag. She told investigators she was approached by two slender white males who appeared to be in their 20s.
The two men pushed her down, grabbed the gym bag and fled on foot.
According to the incident and offense report, the bag contained a change of clothes, 100 hydrocodone tablets, 86 Amatriptyline tables and 86 Alprazolam tablets.
Amatriptyline is an anti-depressant commercially known as Elavil. Alprazolam is the generic name for Xanax.
