Authorities say An Oxford teen has been arrested after a
Calhoun County grand jury issued an indictment for attempted murder and
attempted sexual abuse.
The 16-year-old was arrested and charged with first-degree
assault in May after allegedly stabbing another girl with a knife, according to
a warrant. After the August grand jury session, the girl’s charge was increased
to attempted murder and an attempted first-degree sexual abuse charge was
added, according to an indictment.
