Jacksonville man arrested in statewide heroin crackdown



The State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) Narcotics unit arrested 11 suspects, including a Jacksonville man in Operation Needle Breaker, which is aimed at combating the illegal distribution and trafficking of heroin in Alabama.
After pinpointing several heroin distributors, SBI conducted investigations spanning across seven counties in Alabama. They seized 150 grams of heroin, the most they have seized since before 2012.
   Casey Champion, of Jacksonville, charged with One Count of Distribution of Heroin he is being held in the Calhoun County Jail
Among those arrested was 28 year old
