Honda supplier opening in Albertville

A company that supplies parts for the Honda plant in Lincoln will be opening a new plant this weekend. Newman Technology of Alabama is kicking off operations today in the Albertville Industrial Park. It makes door sashes and exhaust components for Honda and Acura vehicles manufactured in Lincoln. Construction on the new plant last april. Newman Technology already employs 130 people. Local and state leaders including Gov. Robert Bentley will attend the opening today.
