Anniston police are investigating an attempt to assault two
women at an apartment on Glen Addie avenue with a vehicle . According to
Anniston police, the two female victims, ages 25 and 26, told officers that a
man they knew as an acquaintance tried to hit them with his Lincoln Town Car.
The women said the man drove over a curb and onto the lawn of their home on
Glen Addie Avenue. Neither woman was hurt during the incident
The women live in the same apartment complex where a string
of crimes took place Wednesday night, including an assault and shots fired into
a vehicle. However, investigators don’t think assault is related.
